ASSET MANAGEMENT - EQUITY AND FIXED INCOME FUND

The primary purpose of this report is to analyze the performance of our Equity & Fixed Income Fund over the months of October 2023 to January 2024. To do so, this memo will provide a description of the fund, our investment approach, and how funds have been allocated to reach such performance. The secondary purpose is to provide improvements for the future using our performance analysis.

Whether it is about an index fund or dividend income fund, asset management is, at its core, all about the creation of a portfolio, the management of its assets, and the analysis of its performance. It is the practice of increasing wealth over time by acquiring, maintaining, and trading investments that have the potential to grow in value. This extensive report, however, only focuses on equity and fixed income which generally consists of stocks/ stocks bonds and corporate/ government bonds, respectively.

This report presents the newly founded Equity and Fixed income fund. The key features that will be presented are our performance over the last 5 months by discussing market behavior, the investment method used, and the portfolio allocation breakdown, providing a full picture of the environment and the way in which our team operated in managing the portfolio.

In its final section, possible future improvements are provided that, if implemented, will improve efficiency of the fund operations, thus allowing for a better comprehensive analysis and therefore to smooth the decision making process.

Hence, in this document, we present our performance over the last 5 months by discussing market behavior, the investment method used, and the portfolio allocation breakdown. By doing so, we provide a full picture of the environment and the way in which our team operated in managing the portfolio. The final section provides future improvements that, if implemented, will improve efficiency, and allow for better analysis and therefore decisions making.
